① Solid Scientific Research Basis

GTTC has been identified as a high technology enterprise. Moreover, GTTC has been approved to establish Guangdong Children’s Product Quality Safety Testing and Standardization Engineering Technology Research Center, Guangdong Doctoral Workstation, Public Service Platform for Quality Technology of Special Food and Health Industry, Key Laboratory for Quality Research and Evaluation of Medical Protective Products in Textile Industry, Guangdong Key Laboratory for Quality Research and Evaluation of Medical Protective Textile Products, Guangdong Transformation Platform of Science and Technology of Medical Protective Textile Products. Since 2017, 87 scientific and technological projects have been carried out, and many scientific research achievements have reached the internationally advanced level. GTTC has undertaken 7 risk monitoring stations from the State Administration for Market Regulation and more than 10 national and local risk monitoring stations. 134 scientific research papers have been published. 25 patents and 1 software copyright registration have been obtained. Many honors have been won such as the scientific and technological innovation contribution award of industrial textiles, the second prize of scientific and technological progress of China Textile Industry Federation, the scientific and technological achievement award of Guangzhou Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, and etc.

② Talent Team Construction

GTTC doctoral workstation continues to recruit high-level talents. The core technical team is composed of more than 200 members. At present, 40 employees have the title of professional-level senior engineers or senior engineers, and 181 of them have the title of engineers. 87 employees possess master's degree or doctor's degree, and 421 employees possess bachelor's degree. With the orientation of social demand and development, GTTC recruits distinguished talents, creates a high-quality talent training system, fully mobilizes and activates innovation consciousness, and forms a strong source of technological innovation.

Information: Focusing on the R&D of the whole process management of inspection, the whole process RFID management of samples, and the information management of data based on OCR technology;
Automation: Focusing on the R&D of automation of laboratory testing project, process automation and equipment automation;
Intelligence: Intelligent verification of report, application of AI recognition technology, and application and the R&D of near-infrared technology.

A series of R&D services can be provided for enterprise customers such as R&D of new materials, R&D of identification method for new materials, R&D of performance improvement for textile fabric, R&D of improvement of physical property for finished products, R&D of functional testing and evaluation methods, R&D of analysis and improvement for unqualified items, automatic identification technology of materials, personalized formulation of internal control standards for enterprises, and etc.
